2010 Mission Team Reports
Zambia 2010
Although we did not send a team to Zambia this year, several individuals have traveled there to help build the International Bible College or to teach at the Bible College. To read more about their trips, click on any of the links below.
Zambia 2009
June 13-26
The 2009 Zambia team had 9 members, Paul & Lori Schlick, Kevin Hiegel, Diana Hofrichter, Audrey Jensen, Lydia Myers, Nina Strickland, Aron Utecht and Matt Whitman. The team, except for Pastors Aron and Matt, spent half their time working alongside Gospelink national pastors and students to help build the Zambia International Bible College. They spent most of their first week there painting the medical clinic our church built, along with various construction projects. The second week they traveled to Lusaka and shared the gospel in schools and an orphanage.
Pastor Aron taught the 12 twelve students at the Bible College for the entire time and also the 21 national pastors who were there. Pastor Matt, who left a month later, taught the students and a new group of national pastors. The students and pastors worked for a half day and went to class for a half day.
Paul & Lori Schlick have moved to the Bible College permanently and are in charge of the running of the facility and the accounting. Paul will also oversee the construction and teach construction.
